Main Article Content
The following article deals with the development of the promotion of pop music longitudinally throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, with special attention to detail concerning the irruption of recommendations through algorithms that has occurred in this third decade of the third millennium, problematizing their impact in terms of music consumption in the context of Burnett's model (1996) and the “modularity society” proposed by Shore (1996).
